Concept
As a senior class project for SCAD THED 425, we redesigned the North Beach at Tybee into an upscale resort. I was selected to design the pool area. These conceptual renderings are the newest addition of a pool and lounge area and how it would appear at the resort. During the day, the pool and deck surround will appeal to sunbathers as well as multi-generational pool enthusiasts. Families can enjoy the shallow areas for little ones while the more adventurous swimmers can move to deeper zones. Also included in the resort is the Sassafras Pool Bar where guests can swim up to and have a nice refreshing cool drink in the sun. Upon entering or exiting the pool area there is a venders market where guest can buy food, drink, and find retail shops. Private beachfront gazebo’s are also great options for private parties, smaller families or select groups. Day or night, the North Beach Resort is a popular vacation destination in Tybee, Georgia.
